Rocamadour, the most beautiful village but not only...

Already admired in the Middle Ages, the pretty village of Rocamadour is a Unesco World Heritage Site and continues to fascinate all its visitors with the sheer height of this town built on a cliff. At the end of September, the town is surrounded by dozens of hot-air balloons for the Montgofliades, a unique and breathtaking spectacle that dazzles young and old alike.

The region also boasts no fewer than 8 of France's most beautiful villages: Martel, Rocamadour, Autoire, Loubressac, Carennac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Capdenac-Le-Haut and Cardaillac are sure to delight!

The not-to-be-missed Padirac chasm

Dive 130 metres underground to discover the largest chasm in France! Rivers, concretions, light and cool temperatures (13°C) will take you on a journey to a world where time stands still. The Pont Valentré, also known as the Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge) because of the story behind its construction, is one of Cahors' most famous landmarks. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the bridge was intended to serve as a fortress, but took over 50 years to build...
