The Museum of Neanderthal Man

Between the Most Beautiful Villages in France of Martel and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, in a lush green setting, the Musée de l' Homme de Néandertal invites you to discover prehistory. Take a guided tour, suitable for all ages, and retrace human evolution in a unique and fun way!

Sothys Gardens

Located in Auriac, an authentic Correze village between the Cantal mountains and the Dordogne Gorges, the Sothys gardens have been awarded the Jardins Remarquables label. Since 2007, Bernard Mas and the landscape architects have been designing the gardens using a variety of species in a way that respects nature. A series of intimate enclosures, with varied atmospheres, invite you to enjoy a sensory escape combining beauty and culture.

Colette Gardens

Wine growing

Discover a 30-year-old vineyard producing organic wines! All the vines are planted on clay-limestone soil, hence the name 1001 pierres.

Lac du Causse water sports centre (CSNB)

Just below the campsite, the Base Nautique offers discounted hire of water sports equipment: pedalos, kayaks, canoes and paddles can be hired for a trip of between 30 minutes and 1 hour!
